Romance Steamy Scale: Spicy
After several successful years as a star of the hit teen drama Poison Paradise, Grey Brooks is suddenly unemployed. Not yet thirty, she is offered roles as middle-aged housewife and teenaged babysitter, all in the same week. But she can’t seem to find any work to help pay the bills. Until her publicist suggests a fake romance with another Hollywood star. Ethan Atkins has been living in a drunken haze since the death of his best friend, but his publicist is convinced that this fake romance will help boost his career. But when the romance gets real, will the relationship last?
I have to say that while I’m not usually a fan of fake romances, I do love Hollywood romances. This one made for a very interesting read. I have to admit, I was not rooting for the romance to be successful because I could see no redeeming qualities in Ethan. I wasn’t convinced he could ever change. While Grey was supposed to be a positive influence on Ethan, it looked his negative influence was stronger on her.
However, I was pleased with the ending and, spoiler alert, there is a happily ever after.
